Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program (IEEEP)

Through funding from the California Department of Education, the IEEEP initiative has both county and statewide funds focused on these primary goals:
● Increase the number of inclusive settings for preschool students with an emphasis on students with exceptional needs
● Increase the knowledge and practices of support providers associated with inclusive settings including educators, Administrative team, families, Instructional Coaches, community-based organizations, educational partners such as Expanded Learning teams, etc.

IEEEP Statewide

Goal: Increasing inclusion/inclusive practices in California including Sacramento Region through 2027.
● Professional learning for educators, families, support staff, administrative teams and instructional coaches
● Pyramid Model focus
● Redesigned use of workforce registry
● Implementation of culturally and linguistically responsive resources and early intervention supports
● Videos related to Preschool Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (PTKLF) 

IEEEP Local (2.0)

Goal: Increase inclusive settings and improving participation and access to continuum of programs in Sacramento County.
● Sacramento County Consortium led by SCOEConsortium includes LEAs and CBOs (Aroche, Center USD, Elverta, EGUSD, Galt, Robla, SCOE, SCUSD, SJUSD, TRUSD, Only Love Children Centers, Beanstalk, and Catalyst Kids, Inc.)
● Funding from CDE for professional learning, adaptive equipment, and minor facility renovations through 2027
● Developing IEEEP Leadership Team to co-plan and co-design for the delivery of the grant’s tasks including drafting of Local Inclusion Plan and Professional Development Plan
